The South Portland Food Cupboard is a non-profit, volunteer-based food pantry dedicated to alleviating hunger. The cupboard organizes their team of over 130 volunteers who are committed to the acquisition and distribution of food to hungry people throughout South Portland, Cape Elizabeth, Scarborough and surrounding communities.

Food donations can be dropped off on site on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8am to 12 pm. Please call (207)874-0379 to let them know you are coming.

What do the donations help fund?

Monetary donations are used to restock the pantry and ensure that all clients go home with nutritious meals that include milk, meat, eggs, juice and fresh vegetables.

All links lead to a secure off-site page for making a donation.  Aside from providing a link, How to Help in Maine does not participate in the transaction in any way.  Most of the charities are 501(c)(3) and therefore tax deductible
