WHY GIVE STUFF AWAY?
It is so important that people donate goods to organizations. Maybe you have something you have not used for awhile - donate it. Buying extra groceries or an extra shirt or an extra blanket and then donating them can immediately change someone's life. The point of donating (giving stuff) is to help organizations get materials to people who need them most. It is a direct way of helping. The feeling is priceless when you know that your donation of a book, a lamp, or a winter jacket has an instant impact on your community. Honestly, the real question is, if you have the ability, why would you not donate goods?
