At our House, you'll find friendly volunteers, home-cooked meals, warm beds, laundry facilities, and more. Our services relieve emotional and financial stress, allowing families to focus on their child.

We welcome all individuals 18+ or minors with adult supervision. You must be able to pass a background check. Volunteer shifts typically last three hours: 9am-12pm, 12pm-3pm, 3pm-6pm, 6pm-9pm. Guest Chefs typically arrive around 4:30 to prepare meals for our families. No previous experience required. We will do our best to use your talents to best serve our families.

What do the donations help fund?

Donations fund our programs, withour core programs being RMH Portland and RMH Bangor. Our Houses provide an affordable place to stay and increase access to medical care.
