Some of the stuff we need!

Visit out web site for information on what we need and how to donate goods. Thank you for helping shelter pets in need! We depend donations of the supplies below to help keep our animals comfortable and healthy while they’re with us. These are our most frequently used items, but our biggest need is almost always canned wet cat food. Donations can be brought to either of our Brunswick facilities or our Edgecomb location during open hours.

wet cat food, dog food, collars, beds, towels, blankets

What do the donations help fund?

We provide medical attention, care, and love to nearly 3,500 animals every year between our Edgecomb and Brunswick facilities. It is with your help that we are able to do our life-saving work, and offer services to pet owners in our community. While adoption fees and town contracts provide some much-needed income for our organization, the cost of providing shelter, food and medical care to our animals far exceeds what these sources bring in. Contributions from caring people like you ensure that we are able to care for, and find homes for, so many stray and homeless animals every year.

All links lead to a secure off-site page for making a donation.  Aside from providing a link, How to Help in Maine does not participate in the transaction in any way.  Most of the charities are 501(c)(3) and therefore tax deductible
