Support LSM Lake Stewards who are monitoring the health of hundreds of lakes throughout Maine. The direct involvement of dedicated LSM citizen lake scientists plays a vital role in maintaining and improving the water quality of Maine lakes and is a major contributing factor when newly established populations of aquatic invasive species are quickly detected, effectively surveyed, brought under control and sometimes successfully eradicated from our lakes.
