A COMPANY OF GIRLS

A Company of Girls (ACOG) is an award-winning, nationally recognized, resiliency/prevention/mentor/leadership program for girls in Greater Portland. Our mission is to strengthen and empower girls and their families and foster community through the arts. Over our twenty plus years, hundreds of girls and their families have participated in our programs and events.

ACOG’s programming enables youth to express who they are, and provides a safe outlet for girls to take risks, speak up, and be recognized for their unique and valuable voices. We empower girls to be confident in their abilities; to build resiliency to face life’s challenges; and to make healthy and positive life choices.

Supporters like YOU help to keep A Company of Girls on stage…creating learning and empowerment opportunities through the visual, performing, and culinary arts, and helping change the lives of our girls, their families, and the larger community.

Your gift helps us sustain our Core Afterschool Programming for girls, and helps us continue to grow our Community Outreach Programs. All of these programs are available free to participants, ensuring that those who need our programs the most can participate. Your support is crucial to keeping those programs alive.
