SOUTHERN MAINE AGENCY ON AGING
Every stage of life brings joys and challenges unique to an individual’s circumstances. For more than four decades Southern Maine Agency on Aging (SMAA) has provided the resources, programs and people to ensure that older adults and adults living with disabilities in Cumberland and York counties maintain their vitality well past the age of sixty. SMAA Volunteer Services provides volunteer opportunities for more than 800 people each year. Possibilities include delivering Meals on Wheels to homebound seniors, providing Medicare counseling, mentoring children, helping older adults with bill paying, and many, many more. The staff in the Volunteer Services department will find the perfect match for those who want to help.
